Tips:
Gas filling:A gas fill stabilizes tire pressure and keeps it stable. A gas fill increases driving comfort and decreases noise level.
Light alloy wheels in winter: winter tires can be mounted on alloy wheels without hesitation. However, in winter we recommend to hose off the light alloy wheels once a week.
Tires and motorcycles: Especially with motorcycles your safety is depending on two small contact patches only. Consequently, their condition and texture is of highest importance. On motorcycles only approved tire can be mounted. To deviate from the manufacturer's model certificate's tire recommendation a document of compliance issued by the tire or vehicle manufacturer has to be applied for.
Truck tires: Tires give the first indication for potential problems with suspension, geometry, axle, brakes or tire pressure. Moreover they are an important indicator of the manner of driving. Preventive maintenance is as much a cost as a safety factor.
Tires in agriculture: In agriculture deciding factors are tractions force, road resistance and floor loading. The optimal fine-tuning of these factors is our job. The right choice of tire pressure decides on traction force, abrasion and floor loading. With decreased tire pressure a higher traction and lower ground loading can be achieved. However, if lower tire pressure is used frequently on the road, abrasion is progressing faster.
